It would be nice if the user could customize the categories displayed in the Guide (probably via the DVR web interface). This means prioritizing lists, showing/hiding and creating new ones based on category match and/or channel numbers.
There are several people won’t use and it would be nice to have multiple “favorite” lists - which this feature would allow: such as as music channel favorite list.
I think this is a good idea! For example, I don’t watch sports. It would be nice to be able to remove/hide this and possibly add a different category.
With the TVE feature this is almost a must have. If I could create a list for myself and another one for my wife it would make channel surfing so much easier.
Good news, this happened.
I agree - it's great news. Unfortunately the collections only populate on one of my devices. All other devices just have the channel list with their broadcast acronyms - no programs. Which, unfortunately, makes it useless since I can't see what's actually airing within my collections.
