Custom logo

I have a very local channel On my guide that does not get a logo. Is there a way I can load my own custom logo so this way my guide looks more complete

There's currently no way to replace channel logos.

Has there been any thought given to allowing for replacing channel logos since implementing custom channels? It would be nice to have some kind of config file alongside existing HDHR or TVE sources that contain image URLs.

If you are using custom channels, you can change the logo in the m3u file. Assign the logo using the tvg-logo tag. You can change the logo to different "colors" too.

Format:

tvg-logo="https://schedulesdirect-api20141201.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/assets/stationLogos/[stationid]_[color]_360w_270h.png"

In the example above if you change [stationid] to 10035 you will get the A&E logo. The color options are dark, light, gray and white. Some logos don't offer all of the options but all of the options will return a logo.

tvg-logo="https://schedulesdirect-api20141201.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com/assets/stationLogos/s10035_gray_360w_270h.png"

You can get the stationid by looking at the channels list:

http://x.x.x.x:8089/devices/ANY/channels

The channel list is best viewed with some type of rest client or json tool to format the output.

I'm aware, there just doesn't seem to be an elegant solution for assigning logos to non-custom channels, like TVE channels.

A number of mine, UK Freesat, ceased to be what the logo shows years ago

Re-upping this because the new CBS Sports Network logo from Gracenote is AWFUL for use in the app, and it would be nice to be able to replace it and other TVE icons. It's way too small to be recognizable in the guide.
