"Danger, Will Robinson!" in title bar in iOS TestFlight app on macOS πŸ€”

This phrase is now appearing in the title bar of the iOS TestFlight app (Version 2026 - 4.26.750) on my M1 Mac Mini and M4 MacBook Air, both running macOS 26.4.1. What's this all about?

I thought I saw this before...

I'm wondering what the "warning" is about though?

Is this just because it's a TestFlight version? Or because it's the iPad app running (very well, I might add) on the Apple Silicon Mac? Or both? Neither?

Feels weird.

My guess is the developers are having some fun and seeing if anyone notices.

I checked. This IS in the source code.

But it’s the banner that shows when downloading on the iOS app. This text is just a place holder that gets replaced.

HOW it’s ending up in the title bar is bananas.

Is there nothing Liquid Glass can create a bug with?

That is hilarious and probably a really funny Easter egg that should exist still.

I love Easter eggs in apps so anything you can throw at us to find hidden in the menus would be amazing.

Especially if we can get like a Seinfeld reference in the Android app somewhere. That would make me a very happy user. Like if your network drops and you get an error message that says clearly you're not the master of your domain or something like that.

Just noticed this in the stable release, quick search led me here. Good stuff

I wish the keyboard binding (i) would work on MacOS when using the iOS client. Or publish a MacOS client? Or point at me and tell me I'm dumb for not seeing there already is one?
