I'm connecting to the Direct TV and I am getting many channels that are showing up Cable provider authentication failed. I rescan multiple times, and it a few may then authenticate...but channels I've had in the past keep failing
This has been happening to me as well. Initial scan get the majority of channels, especially the freebies included with every TVe sub, but i have to go back and manually scan a lot of the channels. It's all over the place as far as providers, not limited to a particular provider.

Just annoying when you have to go in and manually scan them one at a time because the 'Recan New Channels' option doesn't work.
yes, had to manually do each channel not coming in...sometimes having to do those channels 3 or 4 times before they are authenticated....it took time, but they are working....not sure why it kind of just started though...used to pick up all channels.
Doing the same now....quite a few have gone dumb for some reason.
