DirecTV/AT&T auth changes

Same here. With the "stable" (not beta) server version, tuning one of the channels produces a syntax error. With the beta server (2021.11.30.0216), I get the spinning wheel of death.

I took a screen shot of the Directv channel listing (attached) and am only receiving 106 channels out of 207. All the others say "not authorized".

Note: Perhaps unrelated, but every time I log in to my ATT/Directv account it brings me to a "terms agreement" page.

I did send email to support.

I too am seeing this on many of channels. For example, Fox channels returns this error. Happy to provide any diagnostics. I am using DirecTV for TVE, with the Channels Raspberry Pi 4 image.

Wont for long. As your current authorizations time out the channels will fail. Don’t do a rescan or they all go bye bye.

Been troubleshooting this today, woke up and the channels I watch aren't working. Same error with regards to the XML syntax.

I updated to 2021.11.30.2226 beta, rescanned channels and was able to get everything back. Scanning was a little bit slower than I was used to but thankful things are back.

The XML syntax error is a separate issue from the DirecTV/AT&T auth issues. However, I am glad that your situation was resolved.

I guess this one is proving to be a challenge to the developers. My DTV renews on the 6th, so I think I will start looking for a suitable replacement just in case.

@racameron can you rescan CC/CCP only and then resubmit diagnostics

It sounds like what's happening is that new terms and conditions page is appearing after the login completes, which causes the Cable auth failure error.

If I can get a diagnostics after a single channel rescan, and/or a save>html of the terms/conditions page that will help.

I have not encountered that page. When I log in on a network's site, I am getting the new login page, with the new option to use ZenKey. But once I use my user/pass, the login page redirects as normal.

I'm looking into this, but I can't promise a quick fix. It's very hard to test. I may need to sign up for a DirecTV Stream trial tomorrow.

Are folks experiencing this issue using "Directv" or "Directv Stream" as their source for TVE?

I've been using "Directv". Not sure what the other one is. I tried to login to "Directv Stream" and got "failed to authorize" popup with a thumbnail of the terms authorization page.

I have DirecTV, not Stream. I see the syntax error:

The problem is for DirecTV (satellite), DirecTV Stream (online), and AT&T. All of them are having these issues, because they are changing how TVE authentication works on their end.

Same issues here. I'm down 63 channels using TVE-DTV (satellite). I would submit diagnostics but the channels that aren't authorized are no longer shown on the rescan page. I'm running beta 2021.12.01.0035
