I understand that Channels DVR can use TVE for some/most of the DirecTV Satelitte channels. Is this correct? What is the easiest way for me to incorporate them for my Channels Server. I tossed Xfinity CableCARD last evening but would like to continue using Channels DVR for wharever channels that I might be able to do.
Do I need to do anything with Channels DVR settings like toss my HDHR3-CC sources?
Here is a list from the website. It might not be 100% accurate but will give you the general idea of the channels available.
If you no longer have a valid source for your Cable Card. You can remove the source. Otherwise you might have invalid channels showing up in the guide that you can't use.
Thank you for those. It seems there's nothing of interest in the list that interests me in recording, so I'll just pull my sources return the CableCARD(s) to Comcast and maintain the CDVR for a couple of months.
If you have a relatively powerful pc/mac you could try PrismCast to get all (not just TVE) subscribed channels into CDVR.

How much horsepower are we talking about here? In pc terms not Mac.
