Yes, it's part of the Discovery network which is having issues.
I am able to watch the Discovery channel on TVE 6101. However, the main show is very pixelated and breaking up. It's just the show because the commercials that I saw earlier were fine.
I saw exactly what you describe starting Sunday. I contacted Discovery support Sunday night and the conversation was basically worthless. I was even starting to wonder about some form of passive DRM because the commercials were perfect but the show was pixelated. It's Tuesday and I see the program part of the stream is still broke.
I tried every other Discovery channel in the network and it was working just fine (HGTV, Food, etc.), except 6101.
I just checked on their website at go.discovery.com and it's the same so the problem is at the source.
Other channels are fine.
I will also report the issue to them and see if that can help move things along.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. I remember it did the pixelation thing for a few days back in 2021.
Mine was pixelated yesterday but it is back to normal today.
I got an interesting response from their Support:
Since commercials look clear and only the live Discovery programming is affected, this may point to a signal or feed-specific issue rather than your device, so the extra details will help us escalate this correctly.
It seems to be working fine now.
