Perhaps someone else can help confirm this, but I believe @m0ngr31 has passed away:
Apologies in advance if this is incorrect, but I did a bit of research and all the pieces seem to fit...

Oh man, I hope you're wrong, but the picture sure looks like him. If it's true, he will be missed as he was a really helpful, patient man with a lot of talent.
Man what horrible news. The guy gave so much to the the CDVR community. Cancer is horrible. Gets way too many.
That is such terrible news. He was a real nice guy.
I hope this is not true
Horrible news, agree he was a benefit to our community. Peace be with his family at this time.
Cancer is a shitty thing. We will miss you. At least he is at peace now.
Oof...I hope this isn't the case but if it is may he RIP
I don't know how Github works and this project but is it possible for someone to take it over for future fixes & development?
Anyone can fork the project and carry on development. But, transferring control of the repo would have to be done by someone with account access. And, of course, it should really only be transferred to someone with the skills, time and interest to move it forward.
I hope we can find someone to do it, it is a great container for channels.
Yeah...I would fork it and take it over if I knew anything about node. The only thing I would be helpful with is just passing PRs but thats about it.
RIP I didn't know he passed away. I know tonywagner forked it recently so maybe he or someone else can continue development.
While we are on here why do I always get a transcoder reset error for eplustv sometimes. It lags and then it kicks me out after coming back. It's super random.
Yeah unfortunately right now chunks of it are broken, like Fox.
Joe was always very helpful and generous! He will be missed.
I have some familiarity with the code base, and I’d be willing to head up a continuation of this project right now. I would still need collaborators to support all of the different services.
First I will set it up under a new repo and try to replicate the build process. When it's ready, I'll share it here.
This is heart breaking news he was so helpful, he will be missed condolences to his family and friends.
This is great news! Thanks!
Awesome news thanks Tony! I think this will be a great way to remember Joe and what he built here
New repo here: GitHub - tonywagner/EPlusTV
New Docker image here: https://hub.docker.com/r/tonywagner/eplustv
Edit to add: You should be able to seamlessly swap the new Docker image (“tonywagner/eplustv”) into your existing Docker compose/run commands.
A great big thanks for taking this over Hope you can get Gotham (YES) working again
And a simple RIP to the Orig creator
