ESPN+ & FOX Sports with Custom Channels via EPlusTV

They are "in-market" for a specific account, but you might be traveling or whatever is why I assume they provide both in the API. Presumably they are the same stream, but there is 2 different URLs

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

Out of curiosity, what resolution are you seeing for this SNY stream?

I just checked and I'm getting 1080p as far as I can tell. Does the show stats display that you need?

Thanks! That’s perfect.

Tonight's the first live game on SNY since you fixed the linear feed. Crossing fingers that it works!
I noticed that the Mets vs Marlins game is missing from the list of games on tonight in the guide. I assume this is because of blackout regional issues but since I subscribe to SNY shouldn't I be able to tune into the MLB.tv channel too? Why doesn't it appear in my guide?

I decided to try streamlink to see if it fared any better. The last two games have been better but I can't definitively say it was due to streamlink. In addition to trying to record from EPlusTV, I still record from the Victory+ app on a FireTV attached to an HDMI encoder. The stream from the Victory+ app still includes normal commercials but the EPlusTV stream now doesn't. Instead, it runs a canned banner during the breaks without any discontinuities much like the MLB.tv streams do.

Did you change anything recently? It's possible streamlink is choosing a different stream (without commercials) than ffmpeg/vlc. I find that doubtful, though. Unlike MLB.tv, which is a paid service, the Stars games on Victory+ are free so I'm sure they want as many people as possible to see them.

Yeah, it might be blocking based on your location. I'll have to login with your creds again if that's okay to double check how that's working.
