@m0ngr31 all of the sudden the container is telling me that I am not subscribed to Big Inning. I've tried to reauthenticate a few times and it still won't work. it works on mlbserver and everywhere else. thanks.
Do you have only free games enabled?
yes. interesting. only works with that disabled?
Yes, but I need to update it so it actually checks
couple dumb questions:
how exactly does the Pad XMLTV End Times work? how much time is it adding? is there any option of customizing this?
I also see MLB Big Inning scheduled for tonight at 8PM EST, but I do not have linear channels enabled. I was going to set that up this weekend but now i’m confused. Is this just a special scheduling or free trial for the weekend?
edit: and now I think I figured it out. the “dedicated” option gives me a dedicated channel, if I don’t enable it, it will get scheduled to a randomly available channel in my eplustv block
By default, EPlusTV adds one hour to non-linear event end times in the XML guide data, in case the event runs long. This amount of time is hardcoded, so there's no option to change it right now.
If you turn off that checkbox, the XML guide data will show the actual scheduled end time instead (although you can still tune/record during that extra hour).
Strange issue to report- I had previously posted about my tuner connection issues where my feed would drop after 1-10 minutes on every eplustv channel. I thought it was because I had logged into ESPN with my xfinity internet credentials (no cable), which authenticated me, but turns out that's unrelated. I spent too many hours trying to fix this issue to no avail and was about to give up.
But before I gave up, I decided to give Emby a try. When I play my eplustv channels through Emby, no connection drops! None!! Works like it should out of the box!
So it must be a channels DVR thing. But I have no idea how I would determine what's causing this in CDVR, I am just a regular user and just know enough to be dangerous but not nearly enough to figure out why this happens.
I had Chat GPT analyze my docker container logs. It identified an EAI_AGAIN error that was causing the connection to drop. But apparently Emby somehow fixes it and gets the stream to keep going while CDVR does not? Anyone have any thoughts? I am using original quality, direct play, all the best practices for CDVR.
Looks like fox is bombing out completely now, all I get is axios errors when trying to get schedule. This just started today but FS1 and 2 have been problematic for a few weeks now.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to tackle this next week
Hi @m0ngr31,
Was wondering if you could possibly consider adding the japanese baseball streams from watchdingo (legit site run by For the fans, free to stream) , similar to the KBO streams.
Thanks
Is anyone else experiencing Channels DVR crashing using EPlusTV the last several weeks? When I tune ESPN+, MLB, or B1G+ programs, after a period of time the Channels DVR app will just lock up or throw these errors: "Device Disk Full" or "Transcoder Reset". I will have to restart the game and after some time it will happen again. My devices are the onn 4K Streaming boxes.
I think I got the FOX stuff figured out in v4.9.2
I get some errors playing through Channels as well, but it's connection issues IIRC. Playing direct from E+ never seems to have issues for me
Are you just wanting the linear channels from there?
Yeah the channels with guide data would be awesome.
This container is almost round the clock baseball
Seeing some weird stuff in the guide now, all of the FS1 events are being duplicated across two channels. This is nonlinear btw.
Curious if it'll normalize - there was an issue with the call to the scheduling API, but I didn't think there would be any duplicates based on the changes. If it persists, let me know and I'll see what's going on there
FS2 and B1G seem happy (actually FS2 went away with a later test), but FS1 continues to fail to play. I did try re-authenticating and resetting, but no luck. This is what I saw in the logs:
Channel #90810 has an active event (The Herd With Colin Cowherd). Going to start the stream.
Channel #90810 was setup improperly... Removing.
Could not get stream data for 720p.

Could not get a playlist for channel #90810. Please make sure there is an event scheduled and you have access to it.
That is frustrating - mine is working perfect this morning. Is it possible for you to DM me your entries.db and providers.db files so I can debug on my end?
