Some traditions are simply too much fun to give up!
Yeah Avs are cooked. Can't get by a busted up Stars. Feels bad man
New update for tonight -
Added WNBA League Pass and Outside TV. Neither have live events right now, but hoping both will work. Outside linear channel is working though
I setup an OutsideTV account, followed the link and enter the code that EPLusTV provides. It authenticates on the OutsideTV site but I just get a spinning circle on the EplusTV site. I'm on version 4.10. Every other login on Eplus works fine for me. Has anyone else had this issue?
I noticed that it takes a few times occasionally to pick it up. If it doesn't take after a minute just toggle it again to grab a new code until it works
Thank you. I've tried that multiple times, but I will continue to toggle it on and off until it works.
Wow I don't know how I am just finding out about this. Pretty amazing stuff! Is there a way to customize the channel names, and icons? I can create my own m3u, but I'm not sure if it would line up with the xml. Also I'm running this on truenas, I can spin it up from terminal, but is there a yaml template I can use instead?
Welcome!
Playlist Manager for Channels (a Streaming Library Manager extension) can do this for you easy peasy, but it probably wouldn't make the most sense in this case. You don't really control what is available on each of the "normal" (events) stations; a game just gets slotted into whichever station has an opening. The linear stations already come with Gracenote IDs, so you'd get the natural guide logos for those ones. Again, if you wanted to change the logos anyway, PLM is your quicky solution.
PLM handles the matching, too. While I do personally parse the linear stations through PLM, I just let the event stations go directly to Channels with no intervention. Others do prefer to make some sort of adjustment using PLM, though, so the choice, as always, is up to the individual user and their personal, specific desires.
Can someone explain to me how to keep the client guides sync'd / match the guide on the server? The guide on the server is correct. Clients are not. TIA

I see that same behavior and it’s probably the way we have set the Channels Collection.
The server gives you every channel. The collection is only showing active channels.
When I don’t see an upcoming game, I’ll switch guide to All and find it (normally I’m checking for an upcoming recording)
Kind of an odd question but I have a request from a family member to record the weenie 500 this friday at 2pm and I am wondering if eplustv will let me do that. thanks.
If the channel or app that is airing it is on EPlusTV then yes. If not, then no.
After looking into it, it looks like it is streaming on the fox sports app which is not on EPlusTV. Fubo is streaming it too, but I would assume that is DRM protected as well.
I think i've sportted a memory leak in the ESPNplus docker.
When i ran top on the Synology, i kept seeing Python 3.
When i don't run the container my memory usage is at 38 percent.
Last check with the container running things jumped up to 62 percent.
I stopped the container and restarted it and my cpu is now at 44 percent.
In the past i have seen loausage between 44 and 49 percent.
I'm goinig to see how the restart handles tings.
thanks for the heads up, any chance of adding it by friday? thanks. I also have youtube tv and sling, are they covering it? thanks.
If it didn't come through from the regular FOX guide then E+ won't have it. I am on vacation so I won't be able to add it in time
Enjoy the vacation.
thanks
Not sure if it is related, but I am also seeing high memory usage. Additionally, my docker instance is crashing after ~72 hours.
What providers do you have enabled? How much playback? Are you proxying segments?
Just off the top of my head the cache I'm using for playback maybe isn't clearing out like it should. I'll have to double check my logic there
For reference mine is showing the following:
Vmmem 2,874.0 MB
Docker Desktop Backend 204.6 MB
Updated to 4.10.0 about a month ago and haven't touched it since. No idea if that's considered high or not...
