ESPN+ & FOX Sports with Custom Channels via EPlusTV

I'm on 4.10.4 and am now having trouble playing NESN content. I went to reauthenticate, and it gave me a link like https://tv.nesn.com/123abc — I click that and it redirects to watch.nesn.com, but the token doesn't seem to ever finish coming through.

If it helps to frame this, I'm not sure that those tv.nesn.com links are the "right" way anymore (though I could be wrong). Doing it on my Apple TV I had to type in my email address and get a code to authenticate.

Happy to help test and/or provide any necessary info.

Edit: now I'm seeing the posts from a week ago. Clearly I missed those in the flurry of everything else. Ugh. Still...if there's anything I can do to assist, happy to test/help.

So I'm still unable to play ESPN+ events using the container but it works on the ESPN app. I'm able to authenticate using the same Disney credentials. MiLB ACCNx Bally ESPN3 and CBS Sports events work, as well as the linear channels. I'm running version 4.014 and I'm using VLC to play these streams. Any help is appreciated

i duplicated the container and now the schedule.db is not 0kb, but i cannot for the life of me get channels to show any shows in the guide for any of these channels (linear or otherwise)

edit: actually it looks like nfl+ did make an event for eagles cowboys on thursday, and thats the only entry into the non-linear xml file right now. all of the other found events are in the linear channels, and none of those actually show up in the guide

See what the container logs say the issie is. If it says "please make sure there is an active event..." and you have verified that there is by using the espn+ app, go into eplus and rebuild the guide and reset the active playing channels. Then on Channels go in and delete and recreate the guide db.

I had this happen and tried all the channels and most wouldn't play. The ones that did were the wrong event. Thats when i got a clue that something was out of sync

@tonywagner is there a plan to make linear channels for MLB.TV on eplustv? The only reason why I use mlbserver is just for that.

Do you mean dedicated per-team channels? I'm not sure that's easily possibly in EPlusTV, given the current workflow. You could always create a MLB-only container of EPlusTV and then use the title filter to limit your schedule to just one team.

I realize I'm in the minority here but I'd be perfectly content with this just consisting of ESPN and Fox and their affiliated channels. It seems to be getting too bloated and it's too much for Tony or any one person to consistently maintain.

I didn't have the need to use EPlusTV over the summer so I expected some bit rot when I dusted it off. I would up having to call ESPN to get about my IP address reset/unblocked for some reason but the ESPN and ESPN+ channels are now working again as are the Paramount+/CBS channels. The FOX channels, however, are not working. I can view them in the Fox Sports app on my phone and tablet but not through EPlusTV. I've re-authenticated multiple times but still no go. Here is all I see in the logs.

Could not get a playlist for channel #4310. Please make sure there is an event scheduled and you have access to it.

Hmm, that log message got truncated for some reason. Here it is unformated. FWIW, chanel 4310 is FS1 for me.

I had updated images but not to your version. I missed the switchover from m0ngr31's version when I skimmed the old messages here. All appears good now. Thanks.

I entered my Paramount + (essentials plan which includes NFL games) credentials into E+TV.
I've also entered my NFL.com credentials (have NFL+ Premium) and Peacock and Prime.
In the guide I see tonight's Dal-Phi NFL game (Prime), I also see a soccer game (Guatemala vs. El Salvador) that says it's from Paramount +.
However, I don't see any NFL games on Sunday. Should they be there by now (Thurs. 10:16am)? What games should I expect to see? (local CBS NFL games? Peacock Sunday night NFL game? Anything from NFL+Premium?
