It’s working for me as well. It’s Fox soccer plus that is no longer working.
Make sure you are on the absolute latest version of E+TV (4.13.0). There was some back-and-forth on Fox Soccer Plus on the versions prior to that, due to the fact that I have no way to test it.
I’m on the latest version. It was there and just disappeared. It’s shows in Eplus but not in the linear channels source.
If you log in directly at foxsports.com, can you watch the Fox Soccer Plus live feed?
I think it currently shows in the E+TV GUI for everyone. It just won’t play if you aren’t entitled to it.
Correct
Yes, I can watch the live feed on the Fox Sports app. It was working yesterday but gone today.
I re-entered my credentials on the EPlus site and deleted and re-added the source. Nothing gets the channel back.
I think Fox is having authentication issues. I'm seeing FS1 coming and going in the last week. It was here yesterday and gone today.
Can anyone tell me how to install on Linux? I recently updated to version 4.13 and the webpage disappeared
If the E+TV web config page won’t load, it is likely that the program isn’t starting or it’s crashing. How do you have it installed now? Can you share its log output when attempting to start it?
So I updated using:
docker pull tonywagner/eplustv:latest
docker run tonywagner/eplustv
This usually works fine but this time the web gui disappeared. I also tried a fresh install on a different Linux machine and had the same results. I'm not sure where to find the logs for this docker using Linux 22
That may not be a valid command to start the container. You need to map the port and config volume (data directory), see the readme at GitHub for examples.
And if you start the container from a "docker run" command, it should just print the logs right to your terminal so you can see them.
The Mountain West provider has been updated in E+TV version 4.13.2. This should enable the extra games you mentioned, although the next one isn't scheduled until Oct. 11.
Thanks a lot man I was able to get version 4.13.0 web GUI to load and I'm good with that for now! Now the ongoing issue I have is everything else plays except ESPN+. All the linear and digital channels with events play except ESPN+. I authenticate using the same credentials as the app and it shows I'm logged in but they just won't play. Anyway I could msg you my credentials if you have time?
Thanks so much! I haven't checked zeam live event yet but looks like its loaded up for tonight. I noticed there were some non sports events, I havent seen if they scrape yet, maybe you could add trigger word ban to not scrape?
Improv, Theatre, Show
Also would channel groups be possible perhaps? ESPN 3 have its own 2-3 channels (dont know the max events) SEC+ have its own channel (maybe needs 2) , ACCX, Mountainwest have 3 or so etc. That way can make custom channel logos ? It would be a lot of extra coding, but maybe something down the road.
Yes fox sports was kinda iffy, I am not sure if its the token handoff or what, I used foxone m3u8
This is already possible in E+TV. Using the title and category filter boxes in the web interface, you can filter out any events you don't want in your guide.
This is already possible too. Just run multiple E+TV containers, each with its own separate port and providers.
Yes, go ahead and PM me. I suspect we'll need to update E+TV to support E+ streaming via a TV provider.
@tonywagner The local E+TV page (http://xyz:8000) shows the version currently installed in the upper right corner. This is great. Is there a way to also put there below it or someone the current version that is available so people know where they are at?
Thanks for all the great work on this project. A lot of people really enjoy it!!!
