I don't know much about Windows Docker Desktop, but I think there is a way to inspect the docker and it should give you all the variables currently used. I would copy that and keep it somewhere. Then delete the docker. Run a new instance with the variables you want, copy over ones you have and add the ones you need.
See above in this very thread. Search the word "Windows". You'll see many things, many even from me, some even with exact command line specifications. Variables are just more parts of the command line you use to set up the Docker in the first place, as others have mentioned.
This solution is not going to help you; it is the exact same feed that Channels uses (TVE). It is going to make you log in with your Spectrum credentials. If Spectrum and Disney are having a fight and that is not allowed right now, than you will not have access through any method, period.
I installed windows docker and "pulled" the latest version of EPlusTV. The piece I am missing is how do I edit that command? It was an automagically load from the Docker link to the Docker desktop. Trying to wrap my head around how to breaking it out to "edit"
I would be using an alternate TVE source but I do not want to link the entire source to my channelsDVR which is why I want to only include it for ESPN feeds on EPlusTV
I knew it was going to be a plainly obvious answer, Thank you for pointing this out. I skipped right past it on initial set up. Thank you!
Assuming there is no way to go into the current container and make this edit? I would have to start a new? Thanks
Yep, that's the docker way. Should be able to kill any running container and create a new one without any major changes.
Also, you'll need to view the logs to get any links you'll need to authorize ESPN to the running container.
Yes, it will work for sports on your local Fox channel.
Have EPlusTV up and running, pulling in ESPN, Fox Sports and others, but not FS1 and FS2. Is there a specific environment entry for those? Thanks in advance!
Are you sure it's not pulling in FS1 and 2? They're going to be in E+TV channels, there's no separate Fox channels (which is kind of weird but I guess the dev only wanted one set of channels).
I just got mine running with Fox only and I see FS1 and 2 programs on a couple of the 8000+ channel numbers that I set (all the Fox programs on mine are from 8000 to 8009 or so, FS1 and 2 are on 8000/1 right now).
Thanks for the quick reply! So I checked again and there they were. As of yesterday, the guide didn't show the schedule but maybe it hadn't updated. I had searched for specific games that just popped up now!
For what it's worth, this helped me sort of an issue I was having. I was logging in successfully and EPlusTV was indexing the currently-airing content, but nothing from ESPN+ would actually play. So I set up the docker again and this time instead of authorizing via Hulu Live (which is what gets me the ESPN+ subscription) I authorized direcly via first logging into ESPN.com with the same credentials. Now everything works! Thanks for the hint.
I updated to the latest and the Nebraska - Colorado game is working great in 4k.
Glad to hear it! I tried it earlier but I think I'm blacked out since I'm borrowing creds for it. So I'll have to figure out a permanent fix on a different event
I've explained this several times, but sorry for the confusion. E+ is the project name because it was originally only for ESPN+. All events will be in the E+TV channel group
Yeah its working great, nice 4k HDR. Thanks for the work here dev!
Does ESPN do any games in 4k? Not plus btw, just the main networks. If so I will add those to my list.
None that are available through TVE or the EPlusTV docker container. The few that they do have are only available through a few of the service provider apps. I know the Texas/Alabama game tonight is going to be available through Youtube TV tonight.
So only YTTV gets ESPN 4k??
Man these guys are Neanderthals with this 4K shit, there's no excuse to not stream all the major games in 4k. We've had 4k TVs for what, 10 years now?
