According to the AVS Forum 4k sports thread it is also available on Directv Stream and Fios.
Yeah, that's just sad. Only a few games and only a few providers. Almost nothing available via streaming. The real idiocy is the lack of widely available 4k on the most popular league in the country, the NFL.
Pathetic.
720p60 is the sweet spot for quality and broadcast cost
Doesn't excuse Amazon Prime's lack of 4K NFL, for example, when they stream a ton of their stuff in 4K.
You'd figure a streamer would care about this stuff given how much they paid for the rights.
Sorry for the threadjack, it's just a sad situation.
Is there a guide anywhere for getting EplusTV working with channelsDVR? I can watch the m3u list in windows media player, but none of the channels will play via channelsDVR.
I saw a video explaining why they still don't do true 4K sports and one of the reasons was that the cabling that feed from the cameras to the TV trucks would be too massive to move around.

In 2023? Just sad.
Sounds like they need to go digital with those cameras!
Okay so this is weird, everything is recording fine on the E+ TV channels for Fox Sports but the recordings don't show up in channels until I actually select them from the schedule and try to play them. Then they show up as a recording in channels.
Anybody else see this? It clearly looks like a channels bug on the Apple TV client but I'm not sure why.
I don't use the ATV client, but remember seeing many posts recently about it not reflecting real time status as far as watched state and recorded status.
Hmm, I have three active AppleTVs and I’ve made quite a few recordings from channels and content via EPlusTV and they appear and play fine, as TV shows, just like any other recording from any other source.
Yeah I don't get it, I have TVE, HDMI, PBS and Chrome capture sources and they all work fine, but when I added the E+TV source this weekend for some reason the recordings don't show up automatically.
I guess I'll just bounce the ATV client and see if that takes care of it. I'm running the latest testflight beta.
Does this method work with ESPN3/SEC+/ACC+ that are available on watchespn, but not ESPN+
Yes
Is there a video guide, this seems complicated and I might break something. Does it consistently present espn3/sec+/acc+ in the channels guide?
why are the colors so dull? I see yours is 1080p as well. My friend uses youtube tv and only 1080p. Do they upscale on directv/stream? anywhere else to 4k? it said 4k on my friends youtube tv on shield
The screenshot didn't have HDR, it looked better on my TV.
can it not pickup hdr on channels?
HDR works, but FOX can occasionally be flaky on their HDR implementation, depending on which client.
