To be honest, it’s more user friendly than you think it is. It’s well organized and most of the functions are easy to discover and understandable of what they do. You should give yourself some credit.

Yeah, i see this too, it just has issues...which is annoying as I wanted to be able to use a few of those channels.
If Pluto is plaing a show directly and inserting the ads, it is fine.
Things like th epeople's court and sitcoms etc are fine.
I even find their live news feeds to be a bit annoying but it is becuase Pluto is bringing in a live feed.
I've given up on PrismCast for now and uninstalled it. Nothing against it, I just think my mini is underpowered for everything I'm asking it to do. I don't really need PrismCast at the moment, but I do want to try again soon.
As for FastChannels - zero noted issues on v4.9.9. It's been nice not having to fix something nearly every day - this is the least amount of administrative overhead I've had since Philo started removing TVE channels. Looking forward to what's coming up.

Just to clarify, are you saying that you are accessing Philo through FC without PrismCast, or just referencing the overall ease of using FC for non-Philo channels (Pluto, Plex, Samsung, etc)?
No, gave up on Philo/LinkPi/Fire sticks after their last app update broke deeplinks. I could have side-loaded an older version of the app, but I knew it would still be on borrowed time. I had already come to FastChannels after Pluto for Channels stopped working so I cancelled Philo and went with Frndly since it's already in FastChannels. I was playing around with PrismCast while my Philo account was still active. I'd still like to get PrismCast sorted because I'm sure DRM is only going to get worse.
I hate vague posts like the one I am about to make but...
Since the advent of FastChannels, I've been recording movies from various channels then editing the commercials out. This was working quite well until a few weeks ago (at least three). Now it seems like everything I record requires at least a pass through ffmpeg to rewrite the timestamps, or at worst the recording is corrupt beyond repair.
Have others experienced this? Have the FAST channel providers introduced measures to thwart our recordings?
Edit: I just took a look at the logs for Bride of Frankenstein that was recorded this morning. I see that CDVR decided on its own to run Fix Video Timestamps. So I never actually had access to the unmolested recording.
I have had a fair amount of trouble with that.
It doesn't happen all the time but I would say at least half have that problem. I have not tried the ffmpeg yet as these are not very important. I would love to have them all work on the first try though.

Could someone help me understand what I'm not clocking here?
On the Sources page, it says Roku 804 channels, 109 of which are dead and 266 which have DRM, with only 1 bridged.
But when I go to the channels page and search for which Roku channels are DRM, it only returns one result -- the one channel that is bridged:

I kind of wanted to clean up dead channels and see which ones were supposed to be DRM since only the one is bridged, but I don't know what to make if this info.
All sources, or isolated to any in particular? I do proxy a few which I suppose could cause issues. But majority are straight from upstream. Unsure of root cause.
I've only noticed it on Roku and nothing else jumps out at me when I poke around.

I know Sling TV Freestream "streams are DRM-only for generic IPTV clients". My question is - are AppleTV 4Ks considered "generic clients"?
Injecting tvc-stream-timestamps="rewrite" onto each stream in the playlist tends to fix this problem when I experience it with other custom playlists. I think this is something that @KineticMan would have to implement on his end (after he gets back from vacation!)

That would be useful. Instead of globally or per source.
I have a couple troublesome YouTube Live channels in my Custom source I could try it on.
Globally would be fastest of course for testing — but if it works, wiring it by source wouldn’t be that difficult.
I have setup FastChannels just using the Default feed for now (using 10,000 channel range). Pluto and Samsung are the primary sources. I have a few Pluto channels that will not pull guide data. They do have a Gracenote ID. What may be causing the lack of guide data and schedule?
Without specifics from you, I would say incorrect Gracenote ID's.
Check your DVR log for errors about station ID's, like Invalid station ID and Failed to fetch station
