Hi there I am running channels on Fire TV normal channels on the tv are fine but if I watch or record HD I see ocasional pixels and green screen, I have been running on Apple TV too but no issues with it? Which makes me think that the fire tv cannot process is this the case?

Which FTV model? We’ve been watching with a V2 and it’s been working fine.
Saw some buffering, pixelation, sound burps… night-before-last? and feared the latest update broke something, but, in the end it appeared it was just some kind of temporary thing with that particular channel. Never saw it again, either live or recorded.
If the official app isn’t working either then that means the Wi-Fi signal is bad.
Not using WiFi it is on Ethernet 6 so won’t be that I’m afraid

Are you by chance using your ISP’s modem/router/switch/WiFi combo device for everything?
