I assume at some point getchannels will be available for the FTV^3
And since it has a far field mic built in, I will be able to change channels using voice commands.

Given it has exactly the same processor and GPU as the FTV3 4K pendant then I assume Channels will run out of the box as long as the developers change the store manifest to include installing on the device. It is a shame they stuck to the same specs as the FTV3 and didn’t bump up the specs to match the CPU of the FTV2 combined with the GPU of the FTV3 which does hardware deinterlacing. No decent gaming on this device. I also wonder why they didn’t include built in ethernet. It can’t be cost because they are including the USB ethernet adapter which must cost more. Either the A53/Mail450 SoC doesn’t support onboard ethernet or it was a last minute climb down from an intended WiFi only product.
As always US only at launch (sigh) - will wait for mine.
