FireStick Max Can't Load Channels Beta

Today I got a new FireStick 4k Max and did a firmware upgrade. After Channels was loaded, I tried to load the Channels Beta, as I always did with my old FireStick 4k.

I get an error message saying that I need to go to "My Fire TV" -> "Developer Options" -> "Apps From Unknown Sources" and enable that option. The problem is that there is no "Developer Options" under "My Fire TV" or anywhere else I looked.

How do I fix this?

I believe Amazon is doing things now to disallow side loading apps? Not really sure. Check aftvnews maybe

What version of FireOS is it running?

TRY:
Go to My Fire TV, and select About. Highlight the first option on the list, which is usually your device's name, and press the action button on your remote seven times
