Just adding my voice to this. Over the past few days, I’ve seen both the error message and the promo message pointing to fox.com, etc. I already had the local Fox affiliate set up via ADBTuner as a duplicate of the TVE source, as the TVE version was often off the air except for national network broadcasts, So I will probably go with Fox only on ADBTuner for now, since except for a lack of subtitles, it works as well as TVE

My ABC and my CBS TVE are the correct channels.
just tried fox today and it was a no go.
At the Fox Live website it does identify the correct local station call sign for me (as seen in the schedule).
The problem is that there is no way for me to click and start it playing. I see it register the mouse click, but nothing happens, on any channel I click in their schedule. Tried with latest Firefox, Brave and Edge browsers.
I had no problem at the Fox Sports website, as seen in my post above.
My guess would be because WNYW is one of the 18 Fox Owned and Operated stations, unlike most stations which are Affiliates.
Exactly the same thing here. Only 11 channels show on the guide - and you can't click on any of them...

Contact Fox support https://help.fox.com/fox/s/article/How-do-I-contact-FOX-Support and complain about their https://www.fox.com/live/ website not working.
Until they hear there's a problem, they're not going to fix it.
Enter FIFA or something in the Search box and try clicking on the videos that match.
Even searching Fox Weather and clicking the Live Video just returns you to the schedule.
Fox was working fine for me until today but now I'm getting a video playing saying this stream is having technical difficulties, so it is connecting but the stream itself is not working.
Of course this has to happen on both the days when the USA world cup game is going to play.
Is anyone able to stream from a search hit at their website?

No. After I click on Play, it reloads the schedule.
Guess I was the only one to report it to Fox Support

There aren't even any buttons or anything to click on in the schedule grid to play a live program.
I will write to them too.

Thanks. I spent 37 minutes chatting with Jose A with no solution in sight.
After providing a couple of screenshots as requested, and explaining on two occasions that other people in other states were also having the same issue, the next troubleshooting step would have been for me to restart my router. I couldn't do it right at that time because my DVR was recording and my family was streaming a show in the living room while using my perfectly working internet.
Oh, and one thing that Jose said during the chat was pretty funny:
Just to let you know, on the schedule section you will not have a play button, in this case you will need to search for the specific show that you want to watch and then you will have the play button
I don't know, I would expect to have a Play button on the shows that are currently airing live.
Anyway, after trying the search, I did have a Play button as I had already seen previously but it just reloaded the schedule grid after I clicked on it. I mentioned that to Jose but that didn't seem to help. 
So I won't hold my breath for a prompt resolution.

Sounds exactly how my chat went, except it wasn't Jose and I wasn't asked to restart my router.
I'm sure after both of us reported it, they'll "get right on it" and it will be working tomorrow.

I got the stream is having issues message until about 12 minutes into the world cup and then it 'amazingly' started working. I'm guessing a lot of other people complained.
And of course I only got 720p not 4K but whatever.

Mine is not, they're a Nexstar Affiliate.
I tried watching Live again tonight at 8:05PM and 8:14PM Pacific when Master Chef is supposed to be airing.
Fox website still isn't working and Channels DVR still shows the same looping announcement to stream on FOX NOW, FOX SPORTS, FOX.com and FOXSPORTS.com
Added a scheduled recording for FIFA this morning at 3AM and it failed with Could not fetch playlist 404 Not Found.
Yes, mine is O&O WNYW and working fine in Channels (TVE).
