Is it normal for some channels to not work.
For example "Curiosity Channel", Pixl, Solo Stove, maybe others.
Most of them work perfectly.

Those channels don't appear in the guide
Those channels have no guide data
Error when streaming those channels
Error when recording those channels
Those channels stream and record for me.
I didn't test every single channel, just the ones I use and the ones you mentioned.
they do not stream. they do show up in the guide.

You'll probably have to look at the DVR log and maybe the FrndlyTV for Channels log.
Do they stream for you at the FrndlyTV website https://try.frndlytv.com/ ?
Their status page https://frndlytv.instatus.com/ isn't showing any issues

Its working now.
It only works directly with ChannelsDVR, if I buffer it through xTeVe, most channels work, but those few do not.
VLC can't play those channels from the m3u file either. Its kinda weird.

Guide data for this channel is incorrect.
Found out Sportsman Channel is using the wrong station id 60399 SPMANHD
Correct station id is 66310 SPMNHD
I manually overrode mine using Manage Lineup

I am Docker stupid. About 2 years ago I was able to get the Pluto Docker working on my Synology NAS. I think that was pure luck. After installing this image, I made the port changes to the container. When I enter my IP address with the :8183 extension I can see"Channels Source 1" and "Channels Source 2". When I click on one of those addresses, it asks for my username and password.
Where do I enter the command in Docker in Synology NAS? In the Container I have entered in terminal and it doesn't seem to do anything, and in the Image I have entered in the Environment section and I get a command error.
Sorry for the stupid questions. Appreciate the help!

Stop your container and click on edit Click on Advance Settings at the bottom.
Click add and add both. Ignore everything above as this isn't the docker container. I am just using this as an example. Both probably need to be in caps.

I began recording Covert Affairs on Start TV via Frndly.TV and am getting no episode specific data. All the other programs on Start TV seem to have episode specific data.
I logged into the Fndly.TV site and it showed that the episode broadcast at 11:00 AM (my time) was Season 5, Episode 5.
Is there a way to correct the guide for a single show?
Will Channels record the remaining episodes if they have no differentiating guide data?
I get Start TV from Frndly TV and as a local subchannel through cable.
The episodes for that show don't have a Season, Episode or Episode Title on my Cable listing.
i.e. Gracenote isn't providing it.
Wonder where Frndly TV website gets their guide data from.
Xfinity cable on our TiVo has the proper information. Could it be Rovi?
Or Xperi or whatever they're called now.
I can see it on my TiVo also. Matches what TV Guide dot com shows.
All you can really do is complain to zap2it.com if you see it listed there (since you get it through Xfinity cable, like I do). There is no way for us mere mortals to complain to Gracenote, so have to go through zap2it or Silicon Dust (if missing on their app).

I just checked my HDHomeRun App, which I pay the $35 a year for though I don't really use it. I see that it doesn't have the episode data for that show either, but since there are only 10 episodes left and all the other shows on Start TV seem to have proper episode data, I may just make edits manually so they can focus on more important things.

No. You have to select record for each individual airing.
Currently missing guide data for the new channel "Cowboy Way". I see that I can add it manually when editing the lineup but I'd rather wait until it gets added in the playlist.
Is it something that @matthuisman needs to add manually?
Mine is showing like it's one of the no epg channels, like Curiosity and Dove.
If you can find a Gracenote station ID for it, you'll get better guide data.
You can try overriding the guide mapping to use stationId 127279
If that's accurate, let @matthuisman know to map it to that one.
