I would guess being on the CBS national feed, everyone sees the same thing.
Reminds me of PBS doing that with Peanuts until they went DRM with their stream.
I think the 1969 movie by the same name is identical to the special. Both are narrated by Jimmy Durante.
The movie has a few airings appearing on Freeform 12/3 & 12/4.

Yep you are right, but it is recording on OTA 6.1 which are favored ... but streaming shows this ...

It wouldn't even let us watch via the native YoutubeTV app. I guess CBS only paid for the rights to broadcast over the air and via cable and wouldn't even allow it on a legit OTT service I pay for...

Interesting. This claims Freeform has the streaming rights though based on the above and a couple comments on Reddit it may be blocked there too.
I ended up getting the recordings from my HDHR Prime source. The ones I recorded from TVE Freeform channel ended up being the movie Life-Size 2: A Christmas Eve
