FS1 and 2 gone

I am also getting this today (was working at least as of Sunday night) on Cox.

It doesn't appear to be producing an error image to share, though.

@m0ngr31, it's a similar behavior in EPlusTV, except all the Fox-based linear stations. Working on the websites, though.

EDIT:
A few hours later, they are working fine again with no changes, so......... :person_shrugging:t3:

Ya B1G, FS1, and FS2 have been super hit and miss lately. Will not work one minute then work 30 minutes later. Super odd.

Browsing to the FS1, FS2 and BigTen website in a browser on a PC in the same network seems to allow me to watch live at the same time Channels DVR is not able to authenticate. What can we do to help the developers resolve this?

I submitted logs this morning for these issues. I have both DTV Stream & Spectrum as sources. I could not watch FS1 - even though it scanned with no error. FS2 & BigTen both had errors when re-scanning.

I had a program set to record on BigTen @ noon and I scanned the channel @ 11:59 to check it - which failed. I assumed it would just fail to record when it was noon. I was surprised when it actually did record.
Plus now - I can get FS1 & BigTen - but not FS2.

Very weird..

Yeah, not working for me tonight either through an Xfinity login or a Fios login. Kind of annoying as it always seems to be acting up when I want to record bowling.

I think I figured out the issue with playback on the linear FOX channels

Is it possible that fox is using their own internal methods to watch videos on their websites, not the same URLs as channels and E+ are using in other words?

It's the same URL, but what I discovered is that the schedule is returning an ID on some of the events ending with _dtc, which are missing when you attempt playback in the browser or Android TV. If you remove that when requesting the playback URL it seems to fix it.

Thanks a lot, please report that to the channel devs and maybe we can get fs 1 & 2 working again in channels.

Thay are both working on TVE ... Try rescanning.

Can someone who was experiencing issues try this latest pre-release and let us know if it improves the situation?

Looking good so far, updated to latest prerelease and did about half a dozen FS1 and 2 lives and all of them succeeded. This didn't happen before.

I've tried them a few times since updating and all 3 worked every time here. Thanks

Curious if what you changed is different than what I did for E+

It took a hot minute for FS1 to load and there were exceptions all over the logs, but eventually it came back. After that, it and the rest of the Fox Sports stations came back at their regular speed.

And for some reason, it keeps playing the last few seconds of a commercial every time the station is launched.

@m0ngr31 still getting errors for fs1 for some reason on v4.9.3.
