Eplus container works fine for me. TVE directly added as a source is what has been having issues for me. (AT&T U-Verse login)
Trying to follow. I was getting this error:
2025/09/30 20:07:27.890501 [ERR] Could not start stream for TVE-Comcast_SSO ch6198 FS2: TVE: foxsports regcode: reg_code missing

2025/09/30 20:08:28.171452 [TVE] action=auth mvpd=Comcast_SSO requestor=TNT
Updated to most recent update and then got:
2025/10/04 22:09:04.924205 [ERR] Could not start stream for TVE-Comcast_SSO ch6198 FS2: TVE: not entitled: mvpd: Resource is not supported by MVPD
I’m I understanding correctly that the mvpd error isn’t consistent and not something that is fixed with recent updates?
Yep, it comes and goes with no fix.
Yep still a problem for me as well

Shift to the Fox 1 app. Feeds are solid.
Yeah that's like saying, go live for everything forget dvr.
No thanks.
Yah, next he'll tell you to invest in a device to run the app and an HDMI encoder w/setup and software to record from the app.
No thanks.
Yeah I probably misspoke that but I already have enough stuff recorded with apps and encoders, shouldn't have to run this with Fox One.
This is not something that should be tied up with HDMI encoders when there is an easy way right now to get the fox stream links with something like the video downloadhelper browser extension. I'm streaming all of the Fox channels directly with custom channels.
Or just use the E+ container, it works great too and you get 4K.
I updated to latest prerelease and it's working for me. Thanks!
You're one of the lucky ones, there's no fix for this now. For the ones affected it comes and goes.
I have Fios and a WD NAS.
I'm remoting in over Tailscale and FS1/FS2 are working with YTTV TVE
Also working in E+ using YTTV credentials
Yep, lucky.
Look, we can go back and forth with this forever. It's not going to work consistently for all. The devs want to stick to TVE and ignore the new way to access these via fox one. I get it, they don't want to roll custom stuff in channels all the time.
The easy fix is to use the E+ docker container if all you want is sports on Fox. The broader fix is to use the browser extension that I mentioned if you want all of the Fox linear channels. Been using it for a couple of weeks now, no problem. Someone else mentioned that the links have worked for months. You have to authenticate with your provider on fox.com for anyone questioning whether it's legit.
Just make sure that the link you're using starts with https://cf.fox.edge...
You might have to refresh each channel multiple times and then copy URL to get that link. If it can play in VLC and starts with that, it'll work for an indeterminable period of time. I use a test recording every morning of our local news to make sure it still works. If it doesn't, I'll go and get the new link.
The latest EPlusTV version will now give you linear Fox channels using Fox One
