HomeRun app works but Channels app doesn’t

The Channels 3.0.3 app has started pixelating or freezing & buffering indefinitely but I can still watch TV fine using the HDHomeRun app. The Channels app has also started (intermittently) requiring me to reconnect to my HDHomeRun Extend box when I open the app. I only watch live TV. I don’t use the DVR features. My TV is an Insignia TV that runs the Fire OS.

Click Settings > Support > Submit Diagnostics after the issue occurs

Seeing lots of data corruption which suggests bad signal or Wi-Fi issue.

You can try changing the Transcoder to heavy on Settings > Manage Sources > Extend

I changed it to “heavy” but that didn’t help. I double checked the HDHomeRun app and it’s still working fine.
