Here in Boston, we've just begun to be able to receive ATSC 3.0 broadcasts. That's great for me as I live just miles from the new ATSC 3.0 transmitter, resulting in perfect reception of the ATSC 3.0 broadcasts on my HDHR5-4K (with two 3.0 tuners). In contrast, I am 25 miles away from the ATSC 1.0 signals, which are subject to more weather and, in my case, a PBS station (WGBH) that sold out OTA viewers in the FCC spectrum auction and moved to (crappy) VHF low channel 5. As a result, reception is always better for the 3.0 streams compared to the 1.0 streams. So, I want the DVR to prefer the ATSC 3.0 channels without the requirement to mark the 1.0 streams as disabled in the sources settings.
When I create a pass from the guide selecting the ATSC 3.0 stream (the HDHR is my only source), I get something like the screenshot below.
Is there a global or per-client setting I use to tell the DVR to create passes only from the channel selected in the guide? Or a way to specify the default channel when, I create a recording or pass by searching for the program to be recorded?
