How many channels are supported, I heard up to 500
If you are talking about how many from a source such as M3U playlist, 750 per playlist. There is not a limit on the number of channels that you can have, only a single playlist limit. You can have multiple playlists. The Channels Support Docs answers most questions.
@Bobby_Vaughn is 100% correct. If you need a way to make your playlist(s) be automatically managed and kept under the 750 station limit, Playlist Manager for Channels (a Streaming Library Manager extension) can do that for you:
Beware though that Channels was not designed or optimized, nor is it tested for, lineups with 10k channels of guide data.
You will have a bad time. Prune your lineups.
Thanks for all the info guys. I will look into what you all posted. This is very helpful. My main playlist has less than 200 channels but my other one has more but I’m sure I can trim that down. I didn't know I could have more than one playlist.
