Introducing PrismCast: Browser-based Live TV Capture for Channels DVR and Plex

You're not. Nothing that uses the staticPage (noVideo) profile is included in playlists, and since they were specifically excluded in the code, I've been assuming there's a reason.

Anyway, the process I outlined works fine, and is pretty quick and easy to implement -- especially considering I provided a step-by-step.

Thanks for the response, now can anyone explain why prism says it loaded 1002 channels but I only see 213 or so in the unfiltered list? Does anyone else see this?

Not that I really want to see over a thousand channels lol, just curious why there's such a huge discrepancy.

For any given channel now there are multiple variants, given that each can have different data attached to it (different URLs, Station Ids and so on). You only see one in the list, but behind the scenes there may be 5 variations defined.

Thanks!

Great job! Glad to see it added to PrismCast!

That said...this is what provider packs are for. You should create a profile for it in PrismCast (under the channels tab, click on the provider subtab). That's what makes it easy to share with everyone. You can even add channels and incorporate it as an entire pack so the community can benefit.

Posting individual settings is less helpful - people make copy/paste mistakes all the time, and provider packs are the right way to share these things in PrismCast.

Give it a go...perhaps add channels if you care to, to the pack, and post that instead. You can incorporate an awful lot into it, including channels.

Got all channels working when I moved from NPM to Docker. Only issue worth reporting is stuttering video and audio pause on WeatherStar 4000 and WeatherScan. Both look fine when viewing over Chrome.

This is a great project and provides a lot of redundancy. The HLS direct feeds are great.

Thanks!

What are the specs on your Docker host?

Beelink SER5 MAX Mini PC,Ryzen 7 5800H(up to 4.4GHz) Mini 32GB/1TB PCle3.0 SSD. Running Docker Desktop on Windows 11. Fiber network---500 up/down. Dummy DP Plug.

Just running CDVR and Docker. All content stored on NAS.

Thanks.

Anyone else having an issue with Directv channels? I've tried both predefined channels and manually setup channels (FanDuel Sports Network West, channel name=FDW3LAD, channel number=692). I get the error message below. I'm running the native version in Windows 11.

[ifcp-hz7vb6] Stream setup failed for https://stream.directv.com: Channel selection failed: DirecTV guide grid did not load (no channel logos found).

Continue to see issues with CBS. Works with Docker but the Docker version stutters on YTTV. It is good on the NPM version. It seems the preset isn't seeing the stream until about 15 seconds. Fox HLS is up in 6 seconds. Here's the log.
