iOS app debug setting Always use HLS Streaming for ... (what?)

I'm usually pretty good at searching the forum, but not for this one.
The iOS beta app (9.30.1928) on my iPhone doesn't display landscape when I rotate my phone.
So the setting description is cutoff "Always use HLS Streaming for ..."

Would someone please complete the sentence and tell me what this setting does?

So basically for remote use over Tailscale that setting has no effect with Streaming Quality set to Internet Streaming 8Mbps, but would if Streaming Quality is set to Home Streaming Original?

I'm assuming that streaming live from an HDHR source over a Tailscale connection would use Tuner Sharing and transcode/remux unless Streaming Quality is set to Home Streaming Original, in that case it just uses Tuner Sharing and sends the raw ts stream.

...and now this option is gone? I hope it wasn't just for cosmetics.

It seemed to help a long-standing issue with ATSC3 tuning, which didn't get any traction...

Setting Original Quality Delivery to Stream should achieve the same thing.
