I also would love to see the Channels app for iOS. In the mean time I use VLC for iOS as it can see the HDHomeRun and shows available channels and favorites that you set in HDHomeRun

Can the beta be made to support earlier versions of iOS 9? 9.0.2 more specifically ? Or does it use functions that are only available in 9.3?
The app requires APIs from iOS 9.3

Like many others, I’m very interested in beta testing the Channels iOS app.
I would also like to join the iOS beta. I’m currently running iOS 10 beta 2.
Has any thought been given to including functionality in the iOS app that allows the app to also act as a remote control for the Channels tvOS app? Like, I’m imagining the ability to quickly browse your favorites and all channels using the app and tune the Apple TV to a channel just by tapping on it on your iPhone or iPad.
Would love to get in on this too! Love channels!!

A beta for iOS would be greatly appreciated. Also, I am terrible at finding information so out of sheer curiosity why did Channels decide to kill the DVR function of the app? To me it seems like SiliconDust is working harder on it (they just released a recording engine for shield TV) Love channels the UI and everything about. It is just so hard to have one streamlined thing in the house.
