Here's one that takes HDMI and converts to RTP stream that works with VLC and ffmpeg. Probably would work with Custom Channels.

According to Build your own Slingbox Alternative/Replacement DIY, the URayCoder HDMI encoders work well. They offer both MPEGTS and HLS, so it would be easy to hook up to Custom Channels.
And if you still have a SlingBox (350/500/M1/Solo/Pro/ProHD), there's a github project to Reuse SlingBox hardware without SlingBox Servers to let you stream over http.
Haven't tested it yet, but I have a headless TiVo Premiere attached to a SlingBox Solo and am thinking about using this project since the SlingplayerDesktop app I use only runs on my old Win7 machine.
Nope. He was not. Lots of renewed interest as of late.
There are a lot of HDMI IP encoders available on Amazon these days, under brand names like URayCoder and iseevy These have been discussed a bit in the past here: I picked one up to try it out, and it works quite well. You can choose between H264/H265, select the bitrate and a lot of other options. It exposes a simple url http://x.x.x.x/0.ts which can be fed directly into a Custom Channel for streaming into Channels DVR. There are even models available with 4 HDMI inputs: https://www.szuray.c…
Even in an experimental stage, it’s working brilliantly for me.
