Sometimes a TV Everywhere channel (like OWN or ID) will not work (it displays "Lost Connection"). When this happens on my Apple TV, I can remove the Channels APP from memory and restart it....which fixes the lost connection.
I'm not sure how to remove an APP from memory on the FireTV other than power off and on. IS there a way of "resetting?"
On your Firestick, go to settings:
Applications
Manage Installed Applications
Scroll down to Channels DVR
Press rewind button on remote
And Confirm cache deletion
This normally fixes any issues I see whether it is lost connection, can’t find server, or the inability to get a stream started.
