interestingly enough, my logos stopped working today in the android tv app after having been there since the beginning...
edit: nevermind, got them back. i restarted my vm and somehow the container never started back up.

This might be a stupid question but if I'm only subscribed to one team, is it possible to only show that team in the guide? If I put the full list of teams in, it works fine. When I take everything else out of the list, I get an error Undefined array key 121. If I try adding a comma after the team I get a different error .env MLB_TEAM_ORDER is invalid. Make sure all teams entered are valid and only entered once.
Just block the other channels in the lineup.
what @AeroR1 said is probably the best way to accomplish this right now, but you may have just found a bug. if there's nothing major i need to fix tomorrow, i'll see if i can get single-team fixed this weekend.
I am admittedly several versions behind, but I don't have any guide data for today's games. Everything had been working fine throughout Spring Training.
update to 1.6.1. i still have guide data. one of the things 1.6.1 fixed was a guide issue.
we'll find out in about an hour whether or not they broke live games.
so far, so good. just loaded up the cubs / brewers game and it's working. hopefully a good sign.
Thanks, I had considered favoriting/blocking but thought I'd ask to see if it was something I'd done wrong.
This sounds like a great custom channel!
Sorry about the newbie question as I am new with docker (Synology NAS 728+), but how do I change the environment parameters (including putting the username and password you outlined in your OP)? I added them one by one, but it's not working with the new custom Channels channel. Looks fine on Synology
i'll have to let someone who uses this on a synology chime in, as i really have no idea. the instructions for docker run and docker-compose are all i have first hand knowledge on.
What I meant to say was the feed froze and when I came back in I get the timeout waiting for response headers. rebooted everything and it is a no go for any game...
has it come back yet? that to me looks like an internet issue...i haven't had any issues today.
can you post the laravel logs? from today anyway, you might have to cut out anything from earlier if there is a ton or if you have a higher log level set...
docker exec -it channels-baseball less /var/www/html/storage/logs/laravel.log
When i get back to my computer ill grab those. It came back, not sure if it was internet cause the mlb app played fine. Its almost like it messed up with syopping and starting the feed a lot. Happened with the cubs feed as well. I stopped and started it like 5 times (viewing on my phone, ipad, tv etc) this time when it came back i had channels record it. Then i watched it live on appletv forcing channels to share the feed and keep it active. Its been perfect that way for the second half of the game. If thats the fix ill just have channels record every nats game.
when did this happen? i don't see anything in the laravel logs with timestamps that match your error output from earlier...
I think it was right around 9pm eastern I believe
the laravel logs you posted look like they start at 9:25 eastern. i'm wondering if your container crashed somehow and that's what caused it...
like i said, i've been watching games all day (at least five or six different games and probably 2 or 3 of them checking both feeds), and haven't had any issues.
yeah weird, I'll watch it to see if it does it again. It definitely behaves much better if channels shares the connection (because it is recording it) rather than kill it and initiate it over and over again when i switch devices. Its like there is a lock out or something that prevents you from opening up the stream again. I rebooted everything and had to then wait about 20 more minutes before i could do anything.
channels should be sharing the stream regardless even if you're watching it live. my wife and i both have the padres/dbacks game on right now, and it's using the same connection. the docker container caches the stream so it's only requesting it from MLB once, then it uses the cached stream URL for the remainder of the game.
i did that on purpose so we're not needlessly hammering their servers. it only authenticates and requests the stream the first time you choose a feed (not a game, but a particular feed - home or away). after that, every time you request that same feed, it's getting the cached feed from earlier.
right but if you end it and then start it again it re-initiates the stream. Understand that from an auth perspective it caches but the only times it ever messes up on me is if I start and stop watching on multiple devices and there is no constant stream. Happened last season a few times but for some reason it was happening a lot today. WHen I made channels record the game the stream was constant without any stops or starts, I did the same tests where i stopped and started a bunch of devices. I couldn't get it to fail at all.
It locked me out of all games, I went to appletv and brought up the mlb app on 2 TV's and I could stream whatever i wanted while I was in ths state.
i'm not sure what happened, then. i've been switching back and forth between games all day and haven't had any issues.
my guess is something went haywire on your computer / network somewhere...without the laravel logs from when it happened, it's impossible for me to figure out what happened exactly. definitely let me know if it happens again though and i'll do my best to help!
