I have had a hd homerun dual for many years running through the Plex DVR.
I installed Channels DVR server on my Windows 11 mini pc.
It found the HDHomeRun Dual, but showed 0 channels. I followed the instructions to use the Channels app on my ipad and scan for channels. The ipad found 51 channels and identified their names. Ipad is able to tune into live tv, but there is no guide data.
Back on the server, it still showed 0 channels.
I have tried unplugging the HDHomeRun, restarting the Windows PC and uninstalling Channels DVR.
Server always shows 0 channels.
There is no option to add guide data.
Logs show "Failed to load HDHR #103AC36F lineup: ... "403 Forbidden."
I'm no expert, but remember seeing posts about older SD HDHR tuners that don't store channel scan info onboard, but instead store them on SD's website.
Did you pick a Guide Provider in Channels DVR for your HDHR Dual?
I also found this post. Granted it talks about Prime but maybe same issue.
Maybe an app permission issue with windows firewall?
Also make sure your hdhr has latest firmware running on it.
Tech Support took care of it! Great service! They changed the server code to fix the issue.
