Using the Safari browser in macOS Monterey 12.5.1: when searching the Guide for "northwestern," the results page doesn't load images for "Northwestern Wildcats: Football," "Northwestern Wildcats: Soccer," or "Northwestern Wildcats: Field hockey," and the blank rectangles are not clickable.
Have you tried this again, or used a different browser (as a NU alum I found this post interesting)? Doing this on iOS just now for me loaded the appropriate graphics for the various sports - only the graphics are clickable (the text is not). If you happened to do this search while your guide data is being updated, perhaps the issue you’re describing could occur?
Looks like it works fine in desktop Firefox (and in the iOS app). It's still an issue in Safari, so I don't think it's due to guide data updating.
I would get the image url's in Firefox of the images missing in Safari and try loading just those image url's in Safari and see what happens.
There's only really one image: http://127.0.0.1:8089/tmsimg/assets/u200_l_h15_ad.png?w=360&h=270
It shows up fine in Safari if I go directly to that URL.
Here's a screenshot of the code from the "Inspect Element" feature (the non-loading image is highlighted).
Do you have some ad blocker or pi-hole that might be blocking images whose name ends in _ad
I had that issue with the uBlock Origin browser extension until I whitelisted the site for my dvr.
Looks like that was the issue - turned off my ad blocker and the image loaded. Thanks!
