Non-Docker source for PlutoTV m3u playlists and EPG

@Bobby_Vaughn Yes, copy pasted the epg link from the app dashboard.

If you paste the epg link in your browser, do you see anything?

Getting "EPG file not found" in the browser

Ok. What source are you using?

US east

In the folder you have the Pluto .exe in you should see the epg files.

At first I had selected Pluto all and local , but there were too many channels and so I deleted those sources and used Pluto east. When I look at the Pluto folder I only see epgs for Pluto all and local.

Ok. Right click the system tray Icon and close the server then click the exe file again and see if that fixes it.

Ok, I see the epg file in the Pluto directory now, just waiting for the epg to refresh in Channels

Good. You may need to refresh it in the source. I will check that out tomorrow and see if that is a bug. I rushed through it to get it up and I have not fully tested it. There are always bugs in new things. Thanks for your help.

Thank you!

Guide came up after I refreshed the source as you suggested. Thanks for all your help and providing this great option!

No offense, this is a great community, but I don't know Bobby Vaughn. Hank's code was all in the server, nothing local. But I don't mind installing code from you, I do that already with Channels DVR.

Hi, I'm Bobby. I wouldn't trust me either.

@Bobby_Vaughn is your version that is in Project One-Click ready to go or do you need to tweak it?

Old article old news. Didn’t think they actually implemented that because not a single one of the channels required that since then. I guess now they rolled it out for everything.
Still, I find it strange that I can literally go to their website or use their app. Don’t have to create an account at all and still watch the same channels just fine. Must be something unique to this M3 U Way of watching the channels that requires to login.

I hope someone would create a new thread something to condense and summarize and make it easy to give the available options for Pluto integration to channels because there are just too many posts on going in this thread…

The docker version is ready to go. I had the username and password set in it when I first forked it. I just made a quick change to allow it for all the channels. The Windows portable ,exe is still very new. I have been working on it for a few weeks but I haven't really tested it like I would want to before a release. I rushed it with the events happening today with the Pluto API change. I have been running it on my own PC and haven't noticed any major issues, but there are always bugs in a new release.

Is there something going on with Pluto TV? I just started a new instance about a week ago & it seemed to be working. However the guide was not loading. I resolved that issue last evening. Now tonight, none of my channels load. It errors with "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported." This is through the web browser. My android tv box just shows the Pluto TV splash screen.

Yes, Pluto tv works just fine from the app.

maddox/pluto-for-channels is updated. Read the readme on how to add auth to the docker config.
