ODD new fire stick no way to log in?

so matching TVs
fire stick 1 all works great
different room different tv (same model tho)
this first stick (new 4k) when i open channels there is no channels detected
expected as i only want to log into the remote dev away from home .. but i can’t get that to open up or find that option…
oddly i downloaded whole home dvr and it works fine (the icon with the play button in middle) i got the connect to remote dvr away from home …

so how can i get the connect to remote away from home on the fire stick 2 with the normal channels app….

You cannot. That app is solely for use with local HDHR tuners. Additional features (such as remote streaming) require the DVR server, which needs the DVR client.

Thanks for the response. I’m sure I didn’t say it right.
On one tv it works fine (app without the play button in icon) 2nd tv I need the app with the icon for it work work. There is no hdhr in this home, it only connects remotely.

On the desired app (first tv) option to log in remotely given
On deco tv same stick (4k) no such option, yet using the other app (with play button) it does allow remote sign in and works fine..

Was merely try to keep each tv exactly same
That’s all.

The app without the play icon (:arrow_forward:) cannot login remotely. That app is only for use with local HDHR tuners.

If you wish use a remote DVR, you must use the app with the :arrow_forward: icon.
