Overlay not automatically dismissing

The overlay that shows the timeline automatically pops up when skipping forward and back,, but is not auto-dismissing. I have to press the down arrow on the remote. Is this expected behavior? It used to auto-dismiss after a few seconds.

Hmmm. I’m noticing it’s not consistently staying up. Sometimes it goes away instantly. I haven’t yet figured out what the x-factor is.

Timeline won't hide when PIP button is selected

After the update to version 5.6.6 or 5.6.7, a new bug has appeared. When watching any media and using the left and right arrows to move back and forward, it has become very easy to accidentally swipe up to the little PIP icon: [Screenshot 2023-08-21 at 10.31.45 PM] When then PIP button is selected, the timeline remains on the screen. You have to manually swipe down off of the PIP button, and then the timeline will hide after a few seconds like normal. This never occurred in previous version…

Yep I was just returning to the thread to note that it’s the way-too-easy selection of the PIP button that is the culprit.
