This is something new that started up a week or two ago. When I go to play a TV Everywhere channel it just plays for a second then pauses and buffers. Another second then another pause. I can pause it and however long I pause it is how long it will play for without buffering.
Device is the nvidia shield. Internet is hardwired and speed is 200mbps and it just started doing this.
Any ideas?
Any errors in the DVR log when the issue occurs? Is the shield also hardwired?

oh and shield is hardwired. Also doing it on my Pluto channels I have loaded too. My dream device is now a nightmare
I’m seeing indications of transcoding happening. Are you watching at home or remotely? If at home, check to make sure you have the quality set to original in the client settings.
yeah I had it set to original, then I changed them hoping it would change it but it didn't so I changed it back.

yep. No issues with it since August. Don't know why it would be an issue now

What kind of storage are you using? Could be an issue there potentially. One thing you could try to narrow it down is to enable tuner sharing in the client settings and see if that causes live HDHR to suck too. If so it’s more evidence that the issue is something with the server part of the software.

Router. Its a usb drive connected to the router ? I'd try power cycling the router
ok I'll give that a try. That will have to wait though every other service is working fine...so I would be killed for restarting now
Understand when convenient. Lot of network issues get fixed this way. you'd want to rule it out.
