Anything I can do to improve?

Having an inordinate amount of pixellation & stuttering on many TVE channels (Live and Recorded)

For example on BBC HD:

Yes, at least those I’ve tested. 3-4.

Would a more powerful processor help?

BTW: Just tested 30 channels on TVE. A couple are better (almost acceptable) and some worse than BBC HD.

Could be an issue on some channels. I don't have BBCA here so I haven't been testing with it too much.

NASA seemed to be the best. But most are really annoying.

Is it worth it to try to identify stream resolution from these broadcasts?

Also, was thinking of getting a Synology DS-918+

The skipped and transport_errors numbers here should be zero. Something seems buggy. Are you seeing these on other channels as well?

Also, when I stop recording in the middle of a job and/or have a job that can’t seem to finalize
I get this...NOTE: The last one (job on 7/25) is still in list. How can I delete these entries?

I think there's something seriously wrong with your DVR. Either failing stick of RAM, or the disk is failing. Or something's up on your network (I did see a timeout errors as well).

Finally setup my old Synology NAS (DS1513+) with ChannelsDVR (2019.07.27.1817) to use only Xfinifty-TVE for its source.
Just started two recordings using TVE on BBCA and AMC.
AMC Colombiana (2011)
BBCA Planet Earth: Yellowstone - Summer

They should be completed in 5 minutes.
Will update post with stats when they're done.

They look fine.

Noticed a couple "Sharing existing connection " log entries.
Are you viewing the same channel while it's recording?
Did you check the CPU usage on your NAS while doing that?
