The iPhone Duo is out, and video apps can make use of the effectively two screens when the device is partially folded into a 90 degree configuration. In that case, the vertically oriented half should display the video in landscape and the half that sits on the table contains controls of various sorts. The TV app, Netflix, Amazon Video, and other such apps all do this, but Channels displays “full screen” video which isn’t usable in this configuration. My understanding is that it is a simple update for the developer, so here’s hoping Channels implements it right away.
Duo support will come. And it will be sooner than later. We have a lot of pizza dough in the air right now and its priority is just not that high as its a very new device with very little marketshare.
We fully understand the capabilities of the new device. Channels doesn't so any of that because it hasn't been built for it yet.
There is absolutely nothing simple about the changes needed to support the iPhone Duo.
Good to hear. The compatibility mode is pretty good, especially when you press the rotate and scale button.
Looking forward to it! Thanks
Please bump up the priority, more and more Duos will come online in the next few weeks, its sold out until Jan, the demand is there. I would rather have Duo support then more features right now.
Of course you would, it sounds like you HAVE a Duo
