Thanks... I'll give it a try.

Getting this on all of my channels. Using Maddox docker. What can I do to get channels back

Are you running the latest maddox docker version?
You have read about the changes to Pluto limiting streams and requiring an account, right?

well i thought changing to mpeg-ts fixed it, but it's still happening -- it survives some commercials and not others. any other ideas ?

That is an issue even on Pluto's own app. The way the inject ads causes this. One thing that may help is clearing the cache on the channels app.

Is there a chance Channels devs will add a working PlutoTV feature straight into DVR settings, without needing to tinker with additional docker images etc?

No. This is an appropriate use of Custom Channels and community contributions.

Thank you for a quick reply. My skills are not so good that I could configure the new PlutoTV configs, used to use PlutoTV when it didn't require auth + docker etc settings.

I guess I'll just have to learn to live without it for now...

I believe in you that you or anyone else can learn Docker! It's not as daunting as it might seem from the outside, especially with the tools we have now to make it easy peasy. If you were able to get Channels up and running, then you already have 90% of the skills and knowledge necessary.

I'll link to the below because it has all the basics:

If you don't want to go the docker route, you can try the Windows installer.

@maddox any suggestions for this issue? I also have to reload the m3u every day or two.

Yeah, but it doesn't proxy, and so you're hitting the 24 hour timeout on the session since it's sending out full authenticated urls to Channels.

In short, you really should just move on to one of the other projects. maddox/pluto-for-channels is pretty much over.

And if you're going to go the docker route, I highly recommend KineticMan's FastChannels - FAST Channels aggregator/manager which will allow much more than just Pluto from one docker container.

Thank you for kick-starting this idea and laying the ground work.

This setup doesn't work any longer, does it?

Any issues with the current implementation? Can't seem to get any Pluto channels to start streaming. Restarted the container and looked in logs and it keeps saying stream limit reached, but currently there is only one thing being played and it is not off of Pluto. I have 4 Tuners add as sources. @maddox is there anything you are aware of that would be preventing the stream from starting with the current implementation?

Just 4 posts up from yours...

With the current state and it seems Maddox doesn't want to re-invent the wheel to make it work, I think you should move onto Fast Channels as that is being actively maintained. It also gives you a ton more options. It has a lot more setup upfront as well, but mainly it is done inside the app.

I just installed KineticMan's version on my Synology and it really does work well to stream on more than one device without need to setup multiple sources in Channels. Also, can use my own channel number sequence as before.
