Pluto-Windows_4C Released

Somewhat fresh on my mind from FastChannels-- Pluto does show the release dates for movies in their API. I think I added it to my output somehow too.

Copied the urls from the app.
I just checked again, still no data.
If I open the XML files I do see the info, just not in Channels :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Which regional feed are you trying to use and have you tried a different region to see if that works?

USWest considering I’m in California
Also chose All and Local

All is only for external playlist managers, not Channels DVR. Look in the Pluto Windows Dashboard and disable the feed and re-enable it. Paste the log here. It should look like this:

[20:09:43] Active regions updated: local, us_east, us_west
[20:09:43] [INFO] Regions changed. Forcing immediate EPG generation...
[20:09:43] [INFO] Running EPG Cycle for: local, us_east, us_west
[20:09:50] New token for us_west (Account 1) generated at 2026-05-21 20:09:50
[20:11:42] [INFO] Playlist requested for us_west
[20:11:43] [INFO] Playlist requested for us_west
[20:12:44] New token for us_west (Account 1) generated at 2026-05-21 20:12:44
[20:12:44] [WATCH] ... account #1 ...
[20:12:44] [WATCH] ... account #1 ...

I’m remote right now.
I’ll get that posted later tonight.

In the meantime, I’ve removed the All source from Channels.

Regarding that, what channel managers would be recommended?

Ok. I'll look at it in the morning. If you could, paste the Channels DVR logs related to the m3u and xmltv data loading for the Pluto channels too. Thanks.

Is yours setup like this?

Also, if you type in the IP address on your lan like this:

Does it bring up the server screen and show that it's running?

Setting the Stream Format to MPEG-TS will help if you experience freezing or stutter during playback.

Here’s my Source. I’ll check the server once I’m back at the server.

You have the playlist url in the XMLTV Guide Data.
Should be the epg url
http://192.168.1.19:7777/pluto/epg/local/epg-local.xml

Yup! Just noticed that!!

Now we’re rocking. Apparently the copy url didn’t take for some reason and I wasn’t paying attention during the paste.
Guide data slowly coming in.

Looking good

Now, if I wanted to use the ALL feed, what channel managers are people using?

Glad I could help. It's so easy to overlook the simple things, because people tend to go too deep and over complicate stuff in their minds.

The ALL feed is literally all the feeds. Channels DVR will only load the first 750 channels and ignore the rest. If you want all of them, you would be better off enabling the feeds you want and creating custom channels for each. If you want to use a Playlist manager and select which channels you want in a custom playlist, there are many available online. One developed by @babsonnexus is available here

XUMO has some also

Question:
Sometimes it seems Pluto?? changes channel numbers.
I have a Channel Collection of Pluto channels and in the past (using a different "source") I had to keep track and update my Collection as channels I had selected something like 110112(Internal CHDVR number) for Beach day was now Hogans Heroes.
