Hey there! So I'm a new to using this service, and I'm currently trying to figure out how to add PlutoTV, but I can't seen to find any sort of setup for it anywhere. Anyone know how to set it up?
There are many posts about this on this forum. There are two different options. You can install it yourself using docker or some folks are hosting it and you can use their links to pull the pluto channels from. I provided a link to the docker page that one of the devs maintain.
Easiest way, no container needed:
Has worked well for me with zero maintenance for 3 or 4 years.
I'm gonna give this a try. Definitely a much better method already given that the guide is actually accurate to what's airing. Hopefully it records well. Thank you so much!
What are you running your Channels DVR Server on?
Can you open these links https://nocords.xyz/ and https://nocords.xyz/pluto/playlist.m3u in a web browser?
Windows 11
Yes, it gives me a pop-up to download it. I even put the link into VLC and it started playing. Now I'm not sure why Channels DVR Server isn't picking it up. It was just working recently.
Proxy?
VPN?
None, I never touch any of that stuff. No proxy or VPN is running.
From the same Windows 11 machine you're running Channels DVR on?
Are you running it in a docker container?
Maybe Windows Firewall app access for Channels DVR Server.
Try loading this example m3u from the Channels devs to see if it works.

The m3u should load, but only the Platypus Cam channel will stream.
Thanks for the help! I actually ended up giving my computer a restart and it ended up fixing it. No idea what was causing it because I never had any proxy or VPN running, I think something just didn't launch up correctly and was causing the error. I appreciate the help!

I'm stuck in my atttempt to add Pluto TV back. I'm getting the above error after completing the portion in the Channels portal. I have docker, added the command as per Maddox, I added in the Channels portal the recommended information. And I get this. Any clue what I may have missed?
I use a MacMini. Is this compatible?
It runs in a docker container if that's what you mean

Thank you. I was able to get this set up. I'm wondering if I have a link wrong as I'm only getting a handful of the graphics/artiwork on the channels when pulling up the channels. I used GraceNotes. Should I use a different one?
