TVE worked great for about 2 months straight now I started randomly having this issue about a week ago. Have tried everything listed here and no luck. Hopefully we get an update soon to fix this.

So what am I doing wrong. TVE suddenly stopped working a few days ago. Tried logging in but that resulted in Xfinity blocking that user. Removed it entirely as a source. Created a new user. Can log in successfully when I go directly to something like CNN go. But when I put in the exact same credentials into Channels, I am getting the invalid credentials error/screenshot.

Edit to add: and now I've gotten an email from Xfinity saying I need to reset the password for that user. Something funky is going on. The link URL is https://login.xfinity.com/h/compromised_uid.html Xfinity thinks the user was compromised?
Known issue for Xfinity.
Wait 2 days without trying anything, then try re-adding it to channels.
I just can't seem to figure out Xfinity TVE. I turned off 2 factor authentication and auto authentication. Attempt to login with username not email address. Every time it says that the login credentials are incorrect. The login works on the Xfinity stream app on my phone, kindle fire, and fire tv. I tried so many times that I locked my account. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?
I had the same issue. Turns out its something to do with Chrome. I uninstalled chrome completely and reinstalled a fresh version and Xfinity in Channels worked again.
I never would have considered that as the issue. Thanks.
I've wondered if possibly something (cookies?) is stored in Chrome causing these issues.
Since I'm running Channels on a Synology, the headless chrome being used is part of the Channels DVR Server software, not a stand-alone Chrome app.
Well I got past the first hurdle, but now the response is "not in subscription" which is strange given that I can easily log into stream anywhere.
Curious if you uninstalled Chrome and reinstalled? Also I used my email address instead of a username and all the Xfinity channels in my subscription worked for me.
I did. Even cleared out all of the app data and file folders the uninstall leaves behind. I tried the email address too. I used both my main/parent account as well as the one I typically use to login to Stream and websites.
Mine does that sometimes with certain channels. Have no idea why. I go in the edit sources and rescan that channel, 5% of the time it'll fix it...
I haven't even gotten it to connect as a source yet.
Try long press sign-in button with your credentials.
What worked for me is have the Channels DVR web UI open in your browser, open another tab in the browser and log in to https://www.nbc.com/live, then try adding the source and if it finishes log out of https://www.nbc.com/live in the other tab.
What do you mean by long press?
Longpress the button to signin when you add xfinity as a source.
This is getting frustrating and none of the solutions are working. Let's just say the sign in process is broken. Simple as that.
