Recordings on one channel

If this is a feature and I am missing it, please let me know.

I like to record PARDON THE INTERRUPTION on ESPN. Thing is, it airs "new" twice a day. Once on ESPN at 430 and once on ESPNEWS later in the evening. The DVR is set to record new episodes - so as a result, it always records BOTH "new" episodes (one on each channel).

Is there a way to avoid this - and only pick one channel to record?

I was using the IOS app (which I don't think has that feature - I don't see it), but I see that's an option using the my.channesdvr.net link - nice!

Would I type "ESPN" or the channel number?
