Recordings Refuse To Play Into Padding Time

When I record sports I always add an extra hour because the games go overtime quite often. Right when playback hits the end of the scheduled game time the recording freezes and the little circle spins. If I exit out and try again the same thing happens over and over. If I manually fix the video timestamps the recording will play all the way through padding time. I did that after the recording plus padding time (the entire recording time) was over.

I think this started with the most recent release (I'm on windows) but I can't be 100% sure. I do know it started very recently. Also, a friend tested this on the docker version and it doesn't have the same issue.

Additional info: If the stream is TS the recording timestamp gets messed up and an hour or two into the game the recording becomes unplayable. Manually fixing the timestamp usually makes the whole recording watchable. I switched to HLS and now the games are watchable until the padding time starts as mentioned above.

What is the source that's causing the issue

Something that changed in the DVR server software. Every other piece of the puzzle has been eliminated as a cause. I thought if I posted here the devs would take a look. I've never posted here before so maybe there's a better way to get someone to take a look?
