In theory, couldn't the iCal interface be used for this, at least for recordings?

We've just added an iCal link to the Calendar view. This will allow you to add it to your calendar app or something like Home Assistant or anything else that can utilize a calendar. Please note though, that this will only work locally as it is behind the same authentication as everything else in your Channels DVR Server web admin.
