Show Reminder - anyone else remember that feature?

Anyone else remember the remind me feature in the client from years ago? you could go forward in the guide and click on a future airing and one of the options was to set a reminder. it wouldn't record, you would just get a pop up reminding you that the airing started.

I'm i remembering this correctly? please bring it back!

Guide - Schedule Automatic Channel Switching

We have a reminders feature like this in the iOS app. We can look at doing something similar on tvOS, but the caveat is that the app is unable to do anything if it’s not actively running. So if you set a reminder or auto-tune, and then switch to another app like Netflix, you’ll still miss it.

More details would be helpful.. Where are you expecting to set the reminder? Where would you receive it? We used to have a reminder on our iOS app, but barely anyone used it so we removed it. It's also not that easy to do push notifications and handle multiple devices for reminders. Why do you need a reminder if you can just record things?

Add notifications ability

Hey All, One thing I would love is the ability to receive notifications when a certain program is on. For instance, I was browsing through the guide on the television and I noticed a program that I wanted to check out. I completely forgot about. It would be awesome to be able to click on future programs and have a notify me button. I know the TVOS can do notifications. Im not sure if you can do them between apps but you could always pair them with the iphone. Just a thought!

Feature request: Setting Reminders for shows

I think this would be a good feature that other services are missing. It's quite common in the UK on most Freeview boxes to set a reminder for a show to remind you 5 minutes before it starts.

Feature Request: Default Channel by time of day

We really love the default channel functionality on app open. We tend to watch the local morning news when we are having breakfast and lunch and then as we finish our day we tend to want to default to a national news channel. Would it be interesting to others to add a small simple schedule time of day engine to the default channel start behavior?

Scheduling Channels But not for Recording

Greetings, Is there a way to schedule a TV show and have Channels tell the tuner to change to that channel at that tine? I do not want to record, but just have the tuner change to that channel without me doing that manually? My LG CX has this function, but I rather use my HDHomerun tuner
