Here is a feature request that was brought up a couple of years ago. Since its been so long I think its time remember this feature request. One thread that sort of hits on the topic is If a recording failed, it would be nice if ChannelsnDVR would attempt recording it again [Feature Request]
If a recording fails it would be great if there is a rebroadcast to have it automatically set to record. Channels does know the schedule for a couple of weeks. And often some shows are rebroadcast just a couple of hours later. Depending on the network, they may be rebroadcast ad nauseam for the next week. It would be nice to have an option "schedule record of next available rebroadcast on failure". This could be done on a per recording basis or a global basis from the server. I think right now if a recording with a pass fails, Channels will not attempt to download again till the failure is cleared from DVR manage.
It does appear there are some other recording failure management suggestions to that could be lumped in to this area too such as Notifications when recordings fail?.
